He has been associated with Pak-Qatar Group since 2008. In his last assignment, he served Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited as Head of Investment & Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Pak-Qatar Group, he was associated with Master Group, Deloitte, and Hameed Chaudhri & Co. Chartered Accountants.
A Chartered Financial Analyst with a certification in Financial Risk Management and has experience of more than 10 years, including over 5 years with Pak-Qatar Group, supervising the Investments’ Portfolio of Pak-Qatar Group.
As Chief Investment Officer at PQAMCL, Mr. Mazhar is responsible for the overall investments of the Company as well as, its Collective Investment Schemes.
A CFA finalist having more than 23 years of rich experience in dealing in the equity market, including over 5 years of association with Pak-Qatar Group.
Mr. Anwar, in heading the Investment Advisory side, is responsible for the smooth functioning of the Investment Advisory Agreements, ensuring compliance with the stated terms and conditions including the prescribed investment parameters and the benchmark investment returns.
A Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, holding an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK. Mr. Karim is associated with Pak-Qatar Group since the start of his career in 2009, having a rich experience in Finance & Accounts, fully equipped with what it takes to assume the responsibilities of a Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary.
An associate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) and a CFA finalist having more than 12 years of experience including over 7 years with Pak-Qatar Group. Mr. Javaid specializes in translating the prevailing economic and political scenarios into investment & divestment decisions aligned with the Company’s/Funds’ risk appetite. As a Head of Research at PQAMCL, Mr. Javaid in collaboration with the Chief Investment Officer ensures that the Company’s own and the Funds’ returns outperform the Benchmark as well as, contemporaries.
A Post-Graduate from LUMS with vast experience in the field of customer service, Mr. Ammar is associated with Pak-Qatar Group for more than 6 years and is currently heading the Investor Services department of Pak-Qatar Asset Management Company Limited.
Mr. Ummair, with over 12 years of experience, specializes in back-office operations including supervising the investment/divestment, order placements, and their treatment in the Accounting Systems.
As Head of Operations at PQAMCL, Mr. Ummair is responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of the back-office operations, critical to any investment function’s objective of attaining leadership in the market and Superior Customer Services.
Mr. Kamran Ali Khan has over 18 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Customer Care & Retention, Sales & Distribution, Quality Assurance, Planning, Automation, and Cost Optimization in Pakistan’s service industry.
His last assignment was with K-Electric, where he served as Head of Training and Service Quality. Prior to this, he has worked with Wi-Tribe as Regional Head – Training & Development.
Before joining Wi-Tribe, he served at Mobilink as Specialist-Quality Assurance, Standardization & Training – South Region. In addition, he has also served as a visiting faculty member at the Institute of Business and Technology (IBT).
Mr. Saifuddin Shaikh has been Heading the department of Administration & Procurement of Pak-Qatar since January 2007. During his long association with Pak-Qatar, he also remained as the Head of Information Technology & Systems for 3 years (Oct. 2012 – July 2015). He holds over 24 years of diversified experience in the areas of Administration, Procurement, Information Technology Support, Human Resource Management and Education / Training.
He is a Law Graduate and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance as well as an Associate Engineering Diploma in Electronics Technology.
Mr. Shoaib has over 11 years of versatile and rigorous experience in the financial, manufacturing, and service industry of Pakistan at senior level positions in various departments such as Assurance, Advisory, Taxation and Internal Audit. Mr. Shoaib is a Chartered Accountant by profession from ICAP and has completed several professional certifications such as CFC, CPFA and ISO 9001-2015 QMS Lead Auditor.
He currently serves as a Committee Member of Professional Accountants in Business Committee (PAIB) of ICAP. In addition, he is also serving as Representative of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Pakistan Chapter.
Mr. Bilal Rashid has over 20 years of diverse experience in Marketing & Corporate Communications with various organizations such as IGI Life, Telenor, GEO TV, Lakson Tobacco, etc. He is a thorough marketing professional with a demonstrated history of project delivery. He possesses strong competencies in corporate communications, conventional & digital marketing, business planning, brand activation, advertising, and market analysis.
Mr. Bilal has MBA Degree in Marketing along with multiple related certifications.
Mr.Obaid Hussain Qureshi has over 20 years of diverse experience in Legal & Compliance with various organizations such as K-Electric, Standard Chartered District & Session Court Karachi, etc. He possesses strong competencies in Legal drafting, Compliance, Accounting management, Paralegal Work, Litigation (Civil, Criminal, and Family), Risk management, Arbitration, Commercial Banking, Best Sales & Services, Anti-Money Laundering
Mr. Obaid has done Bachelor of Laws – LLB from the University of Karachi along with multiple related certifications.
